Group leader: Jackie Foster

The Drama Group aims to stage two productions each year in the Village Hall, for three consecutive nights in April and November. These are usually full three-act plays, although the November production is sometimes a pantomime. For special occasions the drama group has contributed one-act plays, open air drama and even music hall for Arts Society events. Play reading evenings are held regularly, when productions are not in rehearsal. The group is always looking for new members, whether to produce/direct, perform, assist backstage or simply to enjoy the play readings. We appreciate it is difficult for young people to participate in term time, but we try to encourage young talent in our Christmas show which includes contributions from the other groups in the Society.
